The Department of Music at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of part-time lecturers who may be called upon to teach various performance ensembles at the lower and upper division course level. We seek applications from outstanding candidates with relevant teaching experience who can teach ensembles (e.g. jazz ensemble, Latin American ensemble, classical guitar ensemble, wind ensemble, etc.) that are specific to the applicant’s background, interest, and expertise.
Applicants with expertise in college-level teaching experience or who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the Music Department's undergraduate and graduate programs (Music Ph.D., D.M.A, and M.A.) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Master’s Degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in music; or four years of artistic and creative work consisting of a national and/or international record of performances, exhibitions or installations in music venues, museums, galleries, and festivals, and evidence of scholarship in peer-reviewed journals, web, and/or book publications.
