Position title: Chemistry & Biochemistry Pre-six LecturerPosition description
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers who may be appointed to teach various lower-division and upper-division undergraduate courses for the department. Course topics include, but are not limited to, general chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry. Outstanding candidates with experience to teach courses in one or more of the above areas are encouraged to apply as are applicants with expertise in organic chemistry.
The campus is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and other assigned duties.
The hiring unit will not sponsor employment-eligible immigration statuses for this position.

Qualifications
Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field.
