Position description
The Technology and Information Management Program, under the Baskin School of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers who may be appointed to teach engineering courses in technology management.
Current subject matter areas within Technology and Information Management include, but are not limited to, product management, product development,innovation and entrepreneurship, supply chain management, financial engineering, operations research, information technology, software engineering, data mining, information retrieval, and machine learning.
Outstanding candidates with experience to teach courses in one or more of the above areas are encouraged to apply. The campus is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching and other assigned duties. Appointments are temporary positions with end dates and generally made one quarter at a time, based on the changing curricular needs of the department.

Qualifications
- M.B.A. or an M.S. degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in computer science, economics, electrical engineering, industrial and systems engineering, management, operations research, management, statistics, or closely related field.
- Teaching experience demonstrated by college level teaching experience, TA experience, research presentations, and/or professional development training seminars.
